Nascar All-Star Race

NASCAR All Star Race is the 26th running NASCAR’s special non-points race. It includes the winners of 2009 and 2010. The event will be run at 1.5 miles Charlotte motor Speedway at Charlotte, North Carolina suburb of concord on May 22 2010. The television coverage will be done by Speed Televisions and  radio coverage will be done by MRN, Sirius XM Radio.

Until 2001, the rule was restricted only to the champions of the past five Sprint All Star Challenge events. But in 2005, the rule was changed to have winners in the past ten years of either the Sprint Cup or the Sprint All-Star Race. Following are the eligible people for this race for this year: Jimmie Johnson,  Tony Stewart, Kurt Busch, Matt Kenseth,  Jeff Gordon, Bobby Labonte are eligible by Past Champions Category.  Kasey Kahne, Kevin Harvick,  Mark Martin, Ryan Newman, Dale Earnhardt Jr are eligible by Past All-Star race winning category. Kyle Busch, Brad Kesolowski, David Reutimann, Joey Logano, Denny Hamlin, Brian Vickers, Ryan Newmann, Jammie McMurrayare are eligible by winning a Sprint Cup points race in 2009 or 2010.
