More HP TouchPads Coming, How to Get Yours
“One last run” TouchPad blog, US only apparently.
There is speculation as to why HP is going into production on the TouchPad, some believe it is all the components that HP committed to buying and that is sitting in the warehouse.
If only HP could in fact sell the TouchPad at $99, it would sell millions, but we know better that it costs approx, $300 to make one of these, and HP is taking a big hit, then again we don’t know if HP has used its clout to secure some very favorable pricing on components.

Here’s the quote from the post with the main details, that you must follow the twitter accounts to know when the TouchPads will be available.

Despite announcing an end to manufacturing webOS hardware, we have decided to produce one last run of TouchPads to meet unfulfilled demand. We don’t know exactly when these units will be available or how many we’ll get, and we can’t promise we’ll have enough for everyone. We do know that it will be at least a few weeks before you can purchase.  See more information in the updated FAQs below.

Bryna (@BrynaatHP) and I (@MarkatHP) will update you here and on Twitter on the status of the new batch of systems. Please continue to share your thoughts and questions with us. Although we can’t respond to every one directly, we are sharing your feedback with teams inside HP.
