We are experiencing some crazy weather in Southern California. On Wednesday June 3, 2009, the area received over 400 lighting strikes, that’s over 1 a minute. Most in the Angeles National Forest Area.
In the Big Bear Lake area a lightning strike snapped a branch that fell on a car and killed the driver 31 year old Elena Martinez.

More unstable weather is expected during the next two days, with rain likely Thursday and Friday.
