L.A.’s street food phenomenon gets the big screen treatment with Taco Cinema — a gourmet street food & film fest rolled into one. Your $10 advance ticket ($15 at door) gets you access to 25+ trucks, serving every conceivable international variation on L.A.’s favorite dish – the taco!

It includes a beer garden on the beautifully landscaped terraces of the Medallion with live musical entertainment. And, as seating permits, free tickets to new environmental documentary films (most Los Angeles premieres) about “slow food” and other green urban living issues, playing at the Downtown Independent Theater (one-half block away):
