Los Angeles Cherry Picking Season Update Leona Valley

Hello to all our Cherry Friends!

Yippee! We made it to May and there ARE cherries on most of the trees!  It is hard to tell when the cherries will be ready, but it is looking like they may be ready in early June.  We don’t know if we will have enough to last through June and into July, so plan your visit in June if you can.

As soon as the cherries taste good (ripe), we will send out another update.  Most likely, our first cherries will be Tieton and Utah Giants.  The Rainier and Bing usually take another week or so.

We will have our 1 lb honey bears (out of our 2 lb jars until the bees make more), cinnamon whipped honey and amaretto pecan honey butter for sale. We hope to have some duck eggs for sale then, too!

The whole family has been wood working over the winter.  If you are looking for a special gift, check out our rolling pins, honey dippers, tops and cherry wood writing pens/pencils when you visit in the orchard.

We hope to have a chance to see all of you this year!!

Watch for further updates and an opening day notice!  Thanks, and please email us with any questions!
