The Langham Huntington Announces Summer Dining Specials, Live Jazz Performances and Renovations
BBQs, Buffets and Brunches featured in The Terrace while The Dining Room and Bar undergo renovations
PASADENA, Calif. – July 21, 2010 – The Langham Huntington, Pasadena is pleased to announce a number of summer dining specials at The Terrace and an exclusive series of Thursday night jazz performances in The Courtyard, where guests can enjoy the beautiful outdoor ambience and special pricing on cocktails and food from The Bar.
Summer Specials at The Langham Huntington, Pasadena include:
Monday and Tuesday
• Barbeque Nights in The Terrace feature a three-course meal including appetizer, barbeque entrée and dessert, priced at $38 for adults and $20 for children. From 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Wednesday
• The Spectacular Seafood Buffet continues in The Terrace, including a variety of fresh seafood delicacies and action stations featuring chefs preparing specialty small plates. Priced at $55 for adults and $22 for children. From 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Thursday
• Live Jazz and Drinks in The Courtyard featuring music under the stars and special pricing on cocktails and bar food. Admission is free. Music from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
• Barbeque Nights in The Terrace
Saturday and Sunday
• Weekend BBQ by the Pool features a barbeque entrée, cole slaw, chips and a soda, priced from $10 – $16 per person. Menu changes daily and features ribs, chicken, salmon, burgers and more. Available at the pool bar from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
• Three Course Prime Rib Dinner on Saturday & Sunday nights in The Terrace includes appetizer, dessert and perfectly prepared prime rib. Priced at $38 for adults and $20 for children. From 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.
• Sunday Champagne Brunch now features an a la carte menu including a choice of two courses and a delectable dessert buffet. Priced at $55 for adults and $30 for children. From 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Guests can enjoy dining specials at The Terrace through October when The Dining Room and The Bar are scheduled to re-open following renovations. The Dining Room is currently undergoing an exciting refurbishment by The Johnson Studio design firm, and will re-open with a new name and a modern and stylish look and feel. The Bar will also undergo a renovation by The Johnson Studio design firm, giving the space a more modern, lounge-like atmosphere while preserving its traditional aesthetic. The bar will also have a new name and feature classic and innovative handmade cocktails, an eclectic wine selection, whisky nosing and premium beers from around the world and upscale, playful bar food by Chef Erik Schuster.
The Bar will be temporarily re-located to the stately Lobby Lounge during renovation, offering sweeping views of the Horseshoe Garden and patio access. It will feature cocktails, upscale bar food and live entertainment on Friday and Saturday nights.
