The 2011 LA Marathon will be held on Sunday March 20, 2011.
Just a reminder that registration will open tomorrow, Thursday, July 15th at 8:00am.  As we’ve said before, last year’s event sold out, so be sure to register early and secure your spot on the starting line at Dodger Stadium. This year’s race will once again feature the Stadium to the Sea route that was a hit with participants.  Check our website for details about the event and we’ll keep you posted with new developments we’re working on for next year’s race.

LA Roadrunners – Official Training Program of the Honda LA Marathon

Our Roadrunners program will once again train runners over the course of 26 weeks to complete the LA Marathon.  New this year, we’ll have programs up and running in three locations:  Venice Beach, Agoura Hills, and Chino Hills.  Take advantage of weekly group training runs, guest speakers, and a complete roadmap to finishing a marathon.  More information here.

Also as the Marathon gets closer, there are thousands of volunteer opportunities. Last year I volunteered and it was fun.
