The Station Fire above La Canada Flintridge in Angeles Forest has grown to 300 acres & has been downgraded to only 10% contained.
The smoke can be seen from miles away.
It looks like the winds are starting to pickup.
Here’s a video shot from a nearby resevoir where helicopters are picking up water for their drops.
L.A. Firefighters getting water from the Haines Canyon Flood Control Basin here in Tujunga, CA. They were fighting a brush fire just east of us above La Canada-Flintridge. This is just up the street from my home at a trailhead to Angeles National Forest. A neighbor and I walked up to see them do their thing. Very exciting!!
Meanwhile the fire in Azusa continues to burn, with limited containment.
