Props to Kohls for expanding in the San Gabriel Valley communities of Whittier and Monrovia. Kohls is betting on the improving economy turnaround and that we have bottomed out.

Kohl’s is opening 30 stores in California in the next couple of months, an aggressive expansion plan on the way.

With the opening of each store, some located in vacant stores, left behind by Mervyns which had closed dozens of stores. This is good news with approx 150 jobs being created by each store.
At 30 new stores with 150 jobs each we are looking at approx 4200 jobs. Thanks Kohls.
