iRobot Roomba Battery Problems

If you have a Roomba like me, you have most likely run into battery problems, apparently the batteries last a year os so and then stop holding a charge. I have charged the battery for many hours and it makes no difference.

What is defective about these batteries, the ones that come from Roomba and are packaged as improved, “get more continuous cleaning time from your iRobot Roomba with a 2nd rechargeable battery” Roomba can clean for up to 200 minutes with two batteries?

How about 20 minutes or more with one battery? I can’t even get the one s I have to clean for one minute.
