How to Setup a Facebook @facebook.com email

So today we are learning that you have the option to setup a @facebook.com  email as an option on your account.

They are rolling out the service in the next few months, yes months, so what was announced today that is available today?

And you have to wait for an invite… jeez, then you can invite your friends. Sounds like a odd way to go about it.

Does this mean if you don’t get an invite your are not important?

No IMAP support out of the box.

The biggest problem I’m seeing with Facebook’s email thingy is that you have to use Facebook.
