Hollywood has historically been the place the world turns for relief in hard economic times. Which is why Hollywood has a historic opportunity to show the public through movies, television shows, music and the actions of its studios how the public can be environmentally sensitive AND save money while doing so. Wer also just added a new speaker from CBS to join a session with News Corp. and NBC Universal.

That’s why we created Hollywood Goes Green, (Dec. 8-9 at the Universal Hilton in Los Angeles) the world’s first business summit devoted to Hollywood’s critical role in promoting green practices to the world. Now in its second year, Hollywood Goes Green will bring together a world-class group of top executives from Disney, CBS, NBC Universal, Sony, MTV, MySpace, HP, General Motors and dozens of other hot companies.

View the agenda and register at: www.hollywoodgoesgreen.com or call 310 417 8800×1.

And we just announced that film and TV actress Laura Dern will be appearing and speaking at our dinner on the second night to benefit two wonderful non-profit organizations, The Organic Center and Healthy Child, Healthy World. The dinner features an organic, sustainable dinner and signature dishes prepared by top chefs Domenica Catelli and Evan Kleiman with gourmet organic desserts by Akasha Richmond. The mouth watering menu will be paired with organic and sustainable wines. Meet food and health experts discussing how food choices can support organic food production, small farms, sustainable agriculture, ecological health and especially our children’s health.

At the conference, we cover topics like:
• Eco-friendly Strategies for Film and TV Production
• Advertising and the Conscious Consumer
• ECO-tainment for TV and Film: Creating Good Content About Doing Good
• Using Digital Media and Music to Promote Sustainable Causes
• Extending Your Brand to Become Green
• Media and Publishing: Delivering Sustainable Messages Thru Media
• The Conscious Consumer: Implications for Media, Entertainment and Brands.
And until tonight, you can still buy tickets to the event at Early Bird prices of $100 off. Deluxe tickets get comp admission to For the Health of Our Children Dinner with Laura Dern.

In difficult economic times, Hollywood has a great opportunity to help set the public green agenda by showcasing environmentally relevant content and business practices. If you are passionate about how your company can become more sustainable, please join us once again for great networking and discussion!

We also have a lively exhibit hall with great exhibitors and products and services to help you become more green. We only have a few exhibiting spots left. If you would like to learn more, call us for details at 310 736-1541 or write to green@ihollywoodforum.com.
