Halloween is the time for costumes, treats, and friendly frights. Ensure you and your family have a fun and safe holiday by following these tips:

1. Choose a costume that does not have long trailing fabric or block your vision.
2. Use battery-powered candles or flashlights to decorate.
3. Keep decorations away from flames, light bulbs and heaters.
4. Remember to keep exits clear of decorations so nothing blocks a way out.
5. Make sure all of your smoke alarms are working.
6. Don’t forget to wear a mask (make it a part of the costume).
7. Ensure social distancing is maintained to be contact-free.
8. Keep your hands clean from germs and candy residue.
