The Growing Experience is a 7-acre urban farm and eco-friendly community resource located at Carmelitos Public Housing Development in Long Beach, CA.
The mission of The Growing Experience Urban Farm is to provide affordable, nutritious produce to low-income families, grown using environmentally sustainable practices, while also providing skills development to underserved individuals, and implementing new agricultural technologies to increase growing capacity, further enabling larger populations to be served.
