GM Electric Car Chevy Spark
The Spark will be made in Korea, or at least that is according to reports.
Apparently GM wants to compete with the Nissan LEAF, which according to reports is selling about 1,000 per month.
General Motors (NYSE:GM) Chevrolet announced it will produce an all electric version of the Chevy Spark mini-car, the Spark EV.
It will be sold in limited quantities in select and global markets, including California.
A123 Systems (NASDAQ:AONE) will supply the advanced nanophosphate lithium-ion battery packs that will power the Spark EV, Chevrolet confirmed.
