What is Opinion Outpost?
pinion Outpost is a research panel. It is a community of individuals who agree to share their views and opinions by answering survey questions from leading marketing research companies all over the world, as well as many Fortune 500 companies. It is a fun way to learn about and influence the products and services you use every day. As a “Thank You” for your participation Opinion Outpost offers Opinion Points, which can be redeemed for cash.
How do I join Opinion Outpost?
o join our community, there is a simple registration process where you fill out a short information sheet. After you sign-up we will send an e-mail to verify the address. By clicking on the link in this email, you will confirm your membership and become part of Opinion Outpost’s research panel. Keep in mind some spam filters may keep our e-mails from getting to your inbox. You may need to check your ‘Bulk’ or ‘Junk’ e-mail folders and indicate e-mails from Opinion Outpost are not junk or bulk mail. Please click here to join.
How do I ensure that I receive Opinion Outpost emails?
he best method to ensure Opinion Outpost emails reach your inbox is to add our email address to your address book – “myopinioncounts@OpinionOutpost.com”. Many email providers allow you to do this easily with an ‘Add to address book’ option, ‘mark e-mail as safe’ or ‘This is not spam’ options. You may also add our domain “OpinionOutpost.com” to your safe list.
f your mailbox does not have an address book, safe list, or contact list, please contact your email service providers’ tech support and ask how they can make sure e-mail from myopinioncounts@OpinionOutpost.com or the domain “OpinionOutpost.com” makes it into your inbox.
Do I have to pay anything to join?
pinionOutpost.com membership is free. We will never ask you for money, or try to sell you anything. We simply ask you to share your opinions by answering survey questions. As a way of saying “Thank You”, we offer Opinion Points for each survey you complete.
Why do you ask me information about myself?
e use the information you provide on the registration form to assess demographics, interests, and other factors to invite you to the surveys best matched for you. Rest assured any personal information you provide will remain confidential and used purely for research purposes. We support the rights of our members by limiting the use of its information for legitimate marketing research purposes only. We are active in supporting the following organizations created to uphold ethical survey research: (MRA, AMA, AAPOR, CASRO, ARF). Will I get paid for this?
ou will always earn Opinion Points for each survey you complete. Opinion Points are redeemable for cash, gift cards, and gift codes. 10 Opinion Points = $1.00. In addition, some surveys may offer other payments, such as a sweepstakes or other prizes. Each survey invitation will have details about the Opinion Points possible as well as other reward details.
What is the Refer-A-Friend Option?
he Refer-A-Friend option allows you to invite friends and family not living in your household to join the research panel at OpinionOutpost.com. We will award you Opinion Points for each person you refer who joins our panel and completes at least one survey. To refer friends, simply log in and enter the e-mail addresses of your friends you wish to recommend in the Refer-A-Friend box. We will send them an invitation e-mail. It is the individual’s choice to join or not to join the panel. We will not use the e-mail addresses you supply for any other purpose and we will only send one e-mail. Email addresses provided should not have been referred by others previously and they cannot already be a member of Opinion Outpost.
How do I update my personal information such as my e-mail address?
f you change your e-mail address, physical address, need to change your password, or to make other changes to your member account, please simply login to the panel member’s area (‘Members Area’) where you can select ‘My Account’. By keeping your information up-to-date, you will continue to receive relevant survey invitations and remain eligible for prizes and rewards. We also ask you to verify or update your demographic information often.
Who is eligible to join OpinionOutpost.com?
anel members must be at least 18 years of age and reside in the United States or Canada to join and participate in our research panel at Opinion Outpost. Other age restrictions may apply for the Opinion Points program depending upon state and local regulations. Please review our user agreement for more information.
What if I forgot my password?
f you have forgotten your password, go to OpinionOutpost.com and select member login, (‘Members Area’). You will see a link, ‘For help with your password or other login issues, click here!’. After clicking the link, you will be asked to enter the e-mail address of your account. Within a short period of time, you will receive an e-mail link with your new password information. Once you login you may change your password.
What if I no longer wish to be a member of Opinion Outpost?
e hope you will enjoy sharing your opinions; however you may leave OpinionOutpost.com any time. If you wish to leave the panel and not participate in market research surveys, please login to the member’s area (‘Members Area’) and select ‘Opt-Out’.
efore you confirm you wish to leave Opinion Outpost, we may ask you to provide some feedback as to how we can make OpinionOutpost.com better and why you are choosing to leave the panel. It will take 24 hours to stop receiving survey invites.
