Frozen Blueberries at Temecula Berry Co

Frozen Blueberries August 7th

Temecula Berry Co open this Saturday, August 7th

First, we would like to thank everyone that made this season a fun time for us.  We made new friends and had the opportunity to share our farm with many new guests.  Thank you.

Thanks in large part to our wind machine, we had a good size crop this year.  With that said, we would like to try something new.  For the last couple weeks before the season ended, we started freezing some berries.  Dad and I aren’t sure if anyone is going to drop by the farm to buy frozen blueberries, but… we thought we would give it a try.  We are proud of our blueberries quality and we really do think they beat the taste of most fruit you buy in the store.

So starting this Saturday, August 7th, the farm will be open from 9am-1pm for frozen blueberries.  They are packaged in freezer bags and weigh approximately 3 pounds.  We will charge $10 a bag.  Our plan is to continue the first Saturday of each month until we run out of frozen blueberries or we find that this wasn’t a bright idea and I should just make a whole bunch of blueberry smoothies.

We will also have our honey, blueberry pies and by request, a limited quantity of the blueberry swirl bread from
Great Harvest Bread Co (  https://www.greatharvesttemecula.com/ )

Again we would like to thank each of you for helping make this an enjoyable time.  Hope to see you this Saturday.

Farmer Mike
