Flea Market Postponed Due to Storm
Received this email regarding the PD Market Flea Market being held at Dodger Stadium being postponed/cancelled.

1.        We are facing a significant storm, that not only threatens the commercial success of our show, but which also poses a significant safety and liability risk to the public.
2.       The National Weather Service is calling for winds gusting to 40mph and is warning of “hazardous driving conditions.”
3.       The rainstorm will also be dangerous to our staff’s operation of electric equipment, such as speakers, computers, cash registers, etc.
4.       The accompanying wind may blow over banners, tent structures and flying debris may injure event goers.
5.       We have received advice from the local Fire Marshall that given the forecasted weather conditions, we would be wise to cancel the show to ensure the safety of our staff and the public.
6.       In the vain hope that the weather would change, and after substantial event promotion, we held off postponing this event until the last minute.
7.       However, after diligent study of the oncoming storm and consultation with public safety officials, it is our best belief that the dangers this storm poses to our personnel and the public clearly outweighs any reason for proceeding with this event.
Have a Safe and Happy Holiday and we’ll be back in January. The date will be announce shortly.
