Could Facebook Protect Your Facebook Account?

There’s reports that facebook could be protecting your rights where you don’t have to provide your potential or existing employer access – username and password.

Most facebook users protect their questionable material from public view, but many just leave it public, having the employee account info would ensure access to everything on that users profile.

So what are employers looking for ?

Is it disparaging remarks about the company, your propensity to have questionable content?


Erin Egan, Facebook’s Chief Privacy Officer on Policy, suggests facebook is looking into new laws to protect users from violations of their privacy.
