One of my pet peeves is cars that speed on city streets. In the city of Pasadena where I live, cars drive way too fast, but I am sure others in other cities would say the same.
Having lived in the city of Pasadena for many years it is disturbing that drivers think they can drag race down city streets.
Tonight, yet again a pack of cars speed down Orange Grove near Hill.
I just got home from a lovely evening with my wife, mother in law and a good friend and go to sit down in front of the computer, it is 11pm and within a few minutes zoom zoom cars go flying by.
This is message to the city authorities that someone is going to get hurt with these cars speeding down city streets. Not a good event to allow city streets to be used for drag racing.
The speed limit on Orange Grove is 40 mph, probably too high. Maybe 35mph would be better, as drivers would drive 40mph anyway. But then you get the cars that like to speed down the streets.
11:25pm a motorcycle goes flying by probably going at least 60mph. Is this acceptable? No way.
What is the city doing about this? Traffic is only getting worse.
