Hi Cherry Pickers,

We finally have some ripe Bings and Rainiers!  Some are perfect, some are not super sweet yet. The darkest colored Bings will be the sweetest.  With Rainiers, some people look for the largest fruit.  I think the cherries with that are have the most orange/red coloring are the sweetest.  Often, the cherries closest to the ground–under the branches almost touching the ground are the ripest.  The ground keeps the cherries warm which speeds up the ripening process.  The earlier in the day you arrive, the more ripe cherries you will be able to find!

We are open every day of the week.  On Weekends from 8am to 5pm and on Weekdays from 8am to 6pm.  Because of the late ripening, we expect to be open for picking thru 4th of July weekend with more and more trees ripening every day.  We still have over 2500 trees that we haven’t started picking yet.  Of course we will keep you posted.  See you at the farm!
