Take Action

From Change.org

Aaron Collette came off a plane from Iraq and into his “safe zone” — his father’s home in Oregon that you saved from imminent foreclosure by Chase bank while Aaron is home on leave.

Aaron and his dad Tim recorded a video to thank you and 122, 000 Change.org members for saving their home while Aaron is on leave from Iraq.

Tim Collette tried for months to stop Chase from foreclosing on his home before his son’s return from Iraq. But it was only when Tim led a petition campaign on Change.org that he got Chase bank’s attention.

Pressure from Change.org members forced Chase to let Tim and Aaron stay in their home. One Chase executive even had to turn off his email after more than 122, 000 Change.org members signed the petition to save Tim’s home.

For Aaron, it “means more to me than you’ll ever know” that Change.org members helped his father keep his home. “Just because Chase doesn’t like you guys, doesn’t mean we don’t,” Aaron said.

Thanks for being a change-maker,

P.S. More big news! Change.org members also just blocked Ford Motor company from taking a New Jersey State Park and turning it into a toxic waste dump.
