Bob Stane’s Coffee Gallery Backstage Needs Help

Coffee Gallery Backstage Needs Help. One of the hidden gems of Altadena is, like so many others, in financial peril, and could use your help, if you can. Bob Stane https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bob_Stane is well known for his longtime efforts at keeping small-venue live-performance folk music alive and well, and COVID has hit his Coffee Gallery Backstage https://www.coffeegallery.com/ venue hard. An intimate venue, where everyone is up close and personal with some of the greatest talents working in the music industry, the Coffee Gallery has been shuttered for months due to the pandemic. Those who’ve been to the Coffee Gallery Backstage know it to be an amazing place, and hopes are hat sometime next year, the venue will reopen. In the interim, your help would be greatly appreciated. Dear Coffee Gallery Community …

The response to COVID-19/coronavirus has been quickly evolving. As of today, the Coffee Gallery Backstage’s listening room is now affected by the directives of the County of Los Angeles and the California Department of Public Health. Live performance venues of any size are now subject to closure as new measures have been announced to prevent the spread of the virus.

The decision to cancel shows is not a simple one as it impacts the musicians greatly and adversely. While we believe in the Power Of Music to bring people together in the most difficult of times, we desire to keep our community and artists safe. To comply with these mandates, we are canceling all shows up to April 30th. We will keep you updated here and on Facebook when circumstances change.

Meanwhile, wishing you all wellness, health and happiness.

~ Bob Stane
