Couple things for the Pasadena Police:
There continues to be a serious problem with cars speeding down Orange Grove between Hill and Allen.
Once at 4:30am in the morning, two cars raced up to the stop light and as soon as it turned green raced off at a high rate of speed.
Last night around 10pm-1am cars.
After several complaints to the Pasadena Police Dept I have yet to see any reduction. The City of Pasadena is not handling the speed issue serious. There now have been several accidents in the area and there has been no increase in patrols and nothing to reduce the speeding issues.
Motorcycles are just as active in the speeding down Orange Grove. It’s a serious problem and something needs to be done. Perhaps adding another stop light somewhere between Hill and Allen on Orange Grove and or timing the lights better to prevent this sort of activity. If you are caught drag racing on city public streets your license should be taken away and your car impounded and sold. It’s not an activity that should be dealt with lightly.
