A rude employee at Belmont Ca Store.
This evening, 10/21/2013, at about 8:20 p.m., my wife and I were about to enter your store on O’Neill and El Camino Real here in Belmont, CA.
As I got out of our car, right in front of the door, your employee entered the store and proceeded to lock the door in my face. I checked the business hours online before we came and I understood that the store was open until 9:00 p.m. I then tapped on the glass door to ask what their hours were and all I heard in an annoyed manner was “WE ARE CLOSED!”
I wanted to ask what time they opened but, again, he shook his head and indicated that the store was closed.
Maybe they were closing early. That didn’t matter. I only wanted to ask when they were open but he seemed to only be interested closing with not enough courtesy to respond. Even if he couldn’t hear me through the crack in the door, he could have come closer to hear what I was saying. I am 70 years old and I’m pretty sure that I don’t or didn’t look like I wanted to rob him or something.
As it turned out, I was the one who was annoyed and disgusted. I have been an AT&T Data customer for years and I only wanted to ask how to transfer my iPad Internet access account to a new device.
I am seriously thinking of going to Verizon where I know I am appreciated.
