AT&T continues to send crapmail to people’s homes on the U-Verse service and now to top it off they have “representatives” going door to door.
AT&T STAY AWAY!
Keep your “representatives” away from my home and stop sending junk mail to my house.
I have asked nicely, now you are forcing me to go viral and start to do videos on your continued offenses with this practices.
I am not happy with AT&T at all!
I am still a DSL and home phone customer, but you are really pissing my off, you have lost me as a happy customer many years ago with horrible service and customer service.
I have been burned many times by your red tape and other questionable practices.
My DSL service bill went to $40 after paying $19.95 for a year. Why is it that existing customers get the shaft AT&T? Basically they way to beat AT&T at this game is to cancel and give your business to another provider, this keeps the other provider, i.e. Charter Cable, Time Warner Cable, etc. in business, while AT&T continues their practices to gain all your business. Phone=Home+Mobile, Internet, and TV. Keep AT&T away from at least one or two services and rotate with other carriers to keep competition.
This is why AT&T is “trying” to buying T-Mobile, because they are competition that would be easy to integrate, eliminating the #3 player and in their forecasts adding millions of customers to their subscriber base, little does AT&T know that the deal will not go through without a slew of changes, and that hordes of T-Mobile customers will jump to another carrier if the deal goes through. What does this mean to AT&T? Focus on your existing network, stop trying to trick people with your shady practices and stop pissing customers off with bad customer service. Your existing customers are your best allies and you have managed to really upset many of them.
Yesterday after requesting dozens of times over many years to be removed from all mailings from AT&T, I received yet another weekly letter, this time plain envelope with script print on the address, and when I opened it, it is addressed to me and it talks about moving special. Does AT&T know I am moving? WTF. Now it seems I am yet another AT&T marketing arm’s list. Shit.
So starting next week the AT&T Junk Email Videos will begin. Until the junk mail stops… and maybe I’ll sprinkle in some AT&T customer horror stories to liven things up.
AT&T: I asked nicely and you didn’t take care of my requests. That is why I write these postings.
So the visit yesterday from two “representatives” from AT&T. Two women, come knocking at the door at around 2:30pm, say they are from AT&T and want to talk about improvements being made in the area, etc.. basically they are selling the U-Verse service and they are trying to get our business. My wife just happened to be home and answered the door. But who is home at 2:30pm on a Friday?
And they didn’t even leave a card when she requested their info.
So you ask for AT&T to stop sending you junk mail and they you get more junk mail and to top it off you might get a visit from AT&T “representatives/agents”. Do these people really work for AT&T, because they are so out of it thinking that anyone is home at 2:30pm on a Friday, or maybe they are trying to hit that 10% of the unemployed and try to sell them something they really don’t want or need.
Oh, AT&, remember that microcell you promised me… why is that nobody ever followed up with me?
