For the 2012 apple pick season there’s a few options for those looking to pick their own apples.
CBS LA has a good guide, which is useful. I have expanded on it a bit, with some images and updated info on the various orchards.
It advisable you call before making the trip, and to at least have two or more possibilities. Many of the orchards do not keep their websites updated as they are short staffed.
Also, keep in mind that as you drive to these farms you will notice additional farms, please share those with us so we can add them to the posting. Helping these farmers to sell their crops helps them stick around and grow.
Now is the easy picking time for those small kids who can’t reach the high branches. Come on up!
