Double Wall Insultated
BPA Free
18/8 Stainless Steel

This is really the key to the success of this product:

No Sweat

Pack it with ice cubes. Fill it with water. Set it on your mother’s beautifully lacquered coffee table without a coaster. She will protest vociferously – that is, until you explain how the double-walled insulation of the Hydro Flask keeps it from sweating and leaving those rings that would otherwise haunt your mother through many a sleepless night.

There are many advantages to this citrus based system including cost savings, less water is used in the process, and some damage already done to your pipes could be reversed. PeopleTowels at Go Green Expo LA 2010

This past weekend was the Go Green Expo in Los Angeles.

130_1183 by you.

Linda Lannon with PeopleTowels

A very simple yet useful product on display was the PeopleTowels.  Linda Lannon the founder of the company and product was on hand and I had an opportunity to speak with her about the product.  My wife is now using the PeopleTowels to raise awareness about paper towel usage among her colleagues at the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles.  The movement is to reduce the use of paper towels. If each person carries around their own towel we could make a significant impact on the amount of paper towels being used.

Of course there are always cases when you have to use a paper towels, but we can try to reduce those.

Visit the PeopleTowels site for details on a current design contest taking place.

The PeopleTowels Earth Day Design Contest
Green Designs = Green $$
April 22, 2010, is the 40th Anniversary of Earth Day.  PeopleTowels, the newest concept in sustainability, is celebrating Earth Day by sponsoring a Design Contest.  Your green designs on PeopleTowels can turn into green cash. more details here

The slogan is “Change is at hand”

PeopleTowels is located in Northern California:

We hate to see good sites hacked.

Last night TechCrunch was hacked more details here:

https://www.techcrunch.com/2010/01/26/techcrunch-hacked/

and

https://pinoytutorial.com/techtorial/techcrunch-hacked-january-25/

Crystal Figlietti with Go Fresh

Say Hello to Reusable, Goodbye to Waste
The Reusable Fresh Snack Pack

This past weekend at the Go Green Expo in Los Angeles I had the opportunity to meet Crystal Figlietti with Go Fresh, makers of the Reusable Fresh Snack Pack.

PVC free EVA plastic :: Phthalate free :: BPA free :: Lead free :: Kid tested :: Mom invented :: Patents Pending

The  Reusable Fresh Snack Pack TM

Some info from their site:

——————————————————

We love the convenience of plastic snack and sandwich baggies but we hate the waste.

The Durable, Washable and Reusable
Fresh Snack PackTM is giving us the convenience with less waste.

We recently passed the 100th day of school and have been using and reusing the same sandwich bag all year…can your disposable bag do that? (That was last school year and guess what? We’re still using the same sandwich bag.)

Hear some of the raves that we’ve been receiving, like this one…

“We just got our snack packs and LOVE THEM!!! When our friends come over and see all of them drying, they ask what they are, we tell them and they think they are the coolest things…we tend to agree! 🙂 My 6 yr old knows not to throw them out too! Very exciting! I actually ate salad with dressing and cottage cheese out of the big one the other day b/c I forgot my container! Thanks so much!” – Shauna

and this one…

“I absolutely LOVE my reusable baggies! And everyone at my son’s school is asking about them :)” – Jennifer
