1957 Ferrari Sold for 16.39 million dollars in Monterey

1957 Ferrari Testa Rossa prototype auctioned for 16.39 million dollars

The Pebble Beach Gooding & Co. auction this year was the host of a Ferrari Testa Rossa prototype, assembled in 1957, which completed the Le Mans 24-hour race. The Italian supercar managed to surpass all expectations and found a new owner for the price of 16.39 million dollars, becoming the most expensive car ever.

“This model won almost all races between 1957 and 1963. It is an iconic car and an iconic design”, said Ferrari historian, Marcel Massini.
