6PM-10PM KARAOKE in the GOLD ROOM !!! $5 Donation*
On Sunday December 19th, HM157 is holding a DIY craft and vintage event featuring craftswomen and other unique vendors from all over Los Angeles from :
10AM – 6PM*
+ 6PM-10PM KARAOKE in the GOLD ROOM with KJ Martin Jaye*
Art, food, music & literature will be included with homemade and vintage gift items and clothing for sale. Just in time for last-minute holiday shopping!

-6PM – Midnight Karaoke !!! After our vendors close up shop, we’re heading inside & having Karaoke in the Gold Room, if you come after 6PM — it’s a $5 donation to strut your stuff on Youtube.
HM157 wants to emphasize just how important it is to shop local, for it seems that the dark cloud of globalization, that once showered us with the promise of prosperity, has dried up economic opportunity here in the USA. Shopping local cuts out the waste of transportation & packaging + it supports & encourages the creativity of our neighbors, rather than corporate greed. We’re looking for GREAT vendors. Recycled, green, vintage and handmade items are particularly of interest. The cost to SELL is ONLY $25 BYOT (bring your own table). We also request each vendor donate one item priced at $20+ to the house. Please email us 3-5 images of the items you would like to sell and site link(s) to your related business to hmonefiftyseven@gmail.com.
The profits from the event will go towards HM157 green renovation via the GET INDEPENDENT @ HM157 Permaculture Workshop Series in January, 2011. The fruit of this monumental effort is our Renaissance Art Gallery Garden of Lincoln Heights founded by members of the LA Permaculture Guild.
