General admission tickets cost $15 for unlimited tastes,
judge for $25/$50.
A maximum of 300 competitors (250 amateur/50 professional) will grill up melted cheese.

If you plan on competing in more than one category, you’ve got to register each sammich separately.
The Registration Desk may need to contact you after you have completed your registration. PLEASE MAKE SURE THE EMAIL ADDRESS YOU HAVE PROVIDED IS VALID AND ONE YOU CHECK REGULARLY. Otherwise, you and your sammich may be left out in the cold. And nobody wants that.

The Grilled Cheese Invitational (GCI) is the largest, craziest, and most exciting Grilled Cheese cooking contest in the country!
The GCI promotes an inappropriate pursuit of perfection and allows for amateur and professional chefs to compete in the hopes of becoming a true Grilled Cheese Champion.
Add to all this some cheese-themed poetry, stand-up comics, cheesy bands and exhibition cheese grilling demonstrations by professional chefs and you have one of the more unique, entertaining and delicious events you could ever be a part of.
The event is also a grilled cheese-centric food festival with vendors selling samples of the best in gourmet grilled cheese and other cheesy type food to over 10,000 attendees.
