10th Annual Tomato-bration™ – all-organic and biodynamic, heirloom tomato plant sale and workshop

The 10th Annual Tomato-bration™, L.A.’s only all-organic and biodynamic, heirloom tomato plant sale and workshop will be held Saturday and Sunday, April 5th & 6th, 9:00 a.m. to 4 :00 p.m. at Ocean View Farms Community Garden in West Los Angeles. At 10:00 a.m. Barbara Spencer of Windrose Farms will present a free class on growing tomatoes organically.

Windrose will offer nearly 100 varieties of biodynamically grown heirloom tomatoes, herbs and other plants for sale at Ocean View Farms Organic Community Garden, located at S. Centinela and Rose Ave., on a six acre hillside overlooking the Santa Monica Bay. Although organic, the plants are competitively priced with conventionally grown tomatoes offered at local garden centers.

A Weekend for Difference Makers & Disruptors
March 13-16, 2014

Join us in celebrating innovation in the Greater Pasadena area for an inaugural citywide weekend of talks, panels, hack and code events, open-houses and mixers. This is a unique opportunity to explore and learn more about the key institutions, companies and people in the vibrant tech and design ecosystem in the Northeast side of Los Angeles.

You’ll have the opportunity to connect with movers and shakers in Pasadena’s rich density of innovation and creativity, including entrepreneurs as well as the business, academic, civic and professional communities.

The CONNECT Weekend launches with a kickoff party on Thursday night and concludes with a closing event on Sunday. In between, collaborator events will showcase the inventors, scientists, and reachers that make the Greater Pasadena area a prime place for difference makers and disruptors.
