Community Kitchen Pasadena Closed Sold @626food #eatckp

Last week when Community Kitchen appeared to be closed during what was posted open hours, we learned that the business was sold. No word on what the future holds, but hopefully the new owner will keep it going and grow the business.

Reports by some not having the best experience.  With wait times for food being the most common complaint.     The food was good.

No word on the new owner or if there are plans for a name change.

Here’s the instgram post from the original owners.

Verizon 5G Coming Oct 1 to Los Angeles

Starting Sept 13, 2018 you can see if Verizon’s new 5G service is available at your home.

5G Home is based on Verizon’s 5G Ultra Wideband Network.  Which according to reports is not true 5G.

I appears that Verizon is trying to beat AT&T wiith the launch. Service will be available for $50 per month.  Speeds claims are 300Mpbs to 1Gig and there are no data caps.

Verizon is clearly going after cable companies like Spectrum and Cox, but also AT&T in the ongoing quest by consumer to get faster services.  AT&T is slow to roll out its fiber network to the home.  Apparently stalling in neighborhoods.  Watching crews come and go and sidewalks being torn up and services still not available months later.

It will be interesting to see where in Los Angeles the service will be available, most likely the actually City of Los Angeles will be primarily served.  Not surrounding cities and suburbs.

Verizon is betting a lot on this first generation of 5G services.

Starting Sept 13, you can go online to FirstOn5G.com

Learn more about Verizon 5G here

With Apple announcements coming on Sept 12, there could be something announced to coincide.  Perhaps making Verizon and Apple closer.
