Doo Dah Parade Orbits through East Pasadena on Saturday, April 27th
Dozens of inventive, if zany, art cars and floats will accompany a legion of frolickers past the mom-n-pop shops along East Pasadena’s shady tree-lined streets. Led by this year’s Queen Susann Edmonds and Grand Marshal Alan Zorthian, spectators will be startled and amused by Flying Baby Hammer, A Moveable Feast (based on a Hemingway novel), Ace Ketchum-Professional Vampire Fisherman, The Great Firewall of China, The LOH Down on Science (featuring NPR personality Sandra Tsing Loh), Suffer Jet-Set Planet for David Bowie, Camp Bimbo, Worlds Tallest Girl Scout, Jiffy Pop! Artist here to promote local art in all it’s forms. Created by chefs, artists, and creative minds we are here to bring light to the void.
A private food, art and craft club open to anybody. Membership is free but entrance to events will have a small fee. To officially be a member you must fill out the contact form on Facebook or go to the website and send us and email stating that you would like to be a member.

Artists include: Debbie Patrick (photography), Richard Pina (portraits), Karen Lee, and Richard Davies. Please come ready to support these artisans, artist, and chefs, in other word bring a few dollars to spend. Update:
The man, identified by authorities as Raffi Roobenbakhamian, was seen climbing over the overpass. Police said Roobenbakhamian had reportedly been “depressed lately.” was from Texas visiting local family members.
An unidentified man jumped onto the 5 Freeway at Olive Ave in Burbank.
Details are still being put together, but traffic is being diverted off the 5 Fwy Southbound.
Offramp closed 5 (I-5 Golden State fwy) South between Olive/ Verdugo Ave and Alameda.
I drove by the scene and the body of the man was on the freeway. It was a disturbing sight. The freeway will surely be closed for many hours.
