A body is found, bones found in Chimney in Fontana, CA.
The body was apparently in the chimney for about a year. The house had been vacant for a while. The coroner has come out and removed the bones.
There’s no evidence of foul play yet.
KTLA showed some video footage of the house and there is a big hole in the chimney where the bones had been removed. It was hard to tell if the man crawled up or down the chimney.

This is a review of my service call this past weekend.
Recently I renewed my service maintenance agreement with Sear’s. I have three appliances from Sears. Washer and dryer and a refrigerator.
The washer and dryer had been working ok, except the dryer is blowing lint all over the place. The frig was having some major frost building up in the freezer. Ice was actually building up on the door seal and the door was not closing properly.
After renewing the contract, at around $400 for all three appliances for three years. Which I thought was a pretty good deal.
Anyway this past Saturday the various service reps had been scheduled to come out. The first one showed up around 9am. Apparently I was the first call. I can’t figure out if I am the first call and my window was 8-12, why someone wasn’t at my place at 8am. Anyway, they showed up. I just had new wood floors installed and had some lineoleum placed under and in front of the refrigerator in the kitchen.
There’s a chance of some possible cuts to the jail system in California, including:

daphne's greek cafe
In the past few weeks I’ve been to the Daphne’s Greek Cafe in Burbank and Pasadena a few times. Love their food and now they are offering a variety of small portion $1 value items, soup, baklava and other items. Seems like a popular way to sell some low cost items.
Recently I had tried their steak kabob and found that the meat was tough, this not only happened at the Pasadena location but also the Burbank location. The chicken is always good. Nice chunks of tender chicken. You can’t go wrong with something chicken at Daphne’s.
After my experience with the undercooked and touch steak on the kabob’s I wrote a comment to the customer service at Daphne’s. Withing a few days I received a call asking me to confirm my address that they wanted to send me a certificate to try their steak again. Sometimes companies tell you they are going to send you something and it never shows up. Daphne’s did in fact send me two $10 certificates with no expiration date. Give Daphne’s your feedback, they do appreciate it. I can’t promise they will send you one or two $10 certificates but you can expect to get a response. I will be back to try the steak kabob and if it is not up to par I will be sending them another comment. I can’t be the only one who was experienced this with Daphne’s.
Kudos to Daphne’s for paying attention to customer comments and taking action, a call, etc.. it really makes a difference!

I had the pleasure of meeting Joel Cardoza from American Tuna during a recent visit to Whole Foods located Pasadena, CA on Arroyo Parkway.
Here’s a picture of Joel sampling the three varieties of tuna from the family run business.
Joel is doing a great job in the family run business, representing the various lines of tuna caught in the Pacific Ocean.
The tuna is simply delicious. In particular I liked the Jalapeño flavor. The regular and organic garlic where also very good. The tuna is cooked in the cans preserving the flavors and vitamins/nutritional benefits.
It is good to see a company like American Tuna doing events like this where they build awareness of what is happening with our food supply and where things are coming from. Most tuna is caught in regions of the world and packed in regions of the world, we really don’t know what goes on. There’s no regulation and very little disregard for the end product and quality. The nutritional benefits of the American Tuna is that it is very high in OMEGA III. Mercury is not even an issue with the American Tuna.
