United Windows and Doors Bad Experience

Be Cautious of Vendors at Home Shows

If you go to Home Shows like me you sometimes find yourself interested in some of the services of the vendors. You may fill out a form and leave your name and phone. Well I must say that I have had a very bad experience with one of those vendors.

Mike is the rep who apparently works for United Windows and Doors, the phone number is 310-279-3953. Mike apparently is a very persistent person, who calls and doesn’t leave messages. He says he met me at the Monrovia Home Show, he should get his facts straight. I don’t ever recall going to a Monrovia Home Show, never even heard of it.
Mike get a clue. Your tactics are not wise and will certainly turn off many potential customers who might have a slight interest in doing business with you or your company.

I am now in the process of locating the info on United Windows and reporting this unacceptable behavior of this rep.

Be cautious of Mike and United Windows and Doors.

Senate extends jobless benefits

WASHINGTON (AFP) – The US Senate on Thursday extended unemployment benefits by an extra seven weeks, in a bid to mitigate the impact of rising job losses as the economic crisis deepens.

The move, already passed by the House of Representatives, provides an extra seven weeks of unemployment insurance to workers whose benefits have expired for a total of 46 weeks.

The bill, passed on a unanimous voice vote, also offers 13 more weeks of benefits for unemployed workers in states where there is high unemployment, for a total of up to 59 weeks.

Veteran Democratic Senator Edward Kennedy, who was in the chamber on Thursday despite battling brain cancer, said the Senate had done the right thing.

“Today’s action is a vital step in repairing the tattered safety net for the millions of families struggling during these harsh economic times,” he said in a statement.

“But there is still much to be done, and I look forward to working with our new president and the new Congress early next year to do all we can to heal our stricken economy.”

Update regarding VeohTV

Veohs –

This is an important update regarding VeohTV.

Over the next several weeks we’ll be transitioning away from supporting VeohTV. We recently launched The Veoh Web Player, which integrates the best of VeohTV into the Veoh.com experience. The feedback on the Web Player has been extremely positive, and it will become our new official player.

Starting next week, we will disable the Channel Guide and the Search function within VeohTV.

You can still access and watch your favorite VeohTV content on Veoh.com. In fact, Veoh.com provides a greater variety of content than was available in VeohTV.

Publishing Videos Using VeohTV
Publishing videos using VeohTV will still be available in the short term. We’re currently working on a standalone publishing application that will make it easier to publish videos to Veoh.com.

The Veoh Web Player enables you to watch videos of any length right in your browser without launching a separate application. You can download videos for later viewing, even when you’re not connected to the Internet. The Web Player also consumes fewer system resources than VeohTV.

We’re confident the Veoh Web Player offers a better viewing experience for our users. If you haven’t had a chance to try it, you can download it here.

Thanks!

The Veoh Team
