A couple of tips to improve performance of your Windows XP System.
Start>Run
type in “prefetch” without the quotes
The folder should open it may have several files mine had over 100. Select all and Delete these files.
Do the same thing again
Start>Run
type in “temp” without the quotes
Start>Run
type in “%temp%” without the quotes
You may or may note notice a significant improvement in performance, but it does help.
