Cornell Aguora Hills Old Place

It takes a village!  Here in Cornell , California we are so proud to be part in a unique pride that is derived from having a sense of place.  Cornell is home to many unique families who have created a very warm country like feel to the landscape.  Our intention from the beginning was to become a part of this charm and find ways to enhance the experience for those who live in the community and offer a little piece of the charm to those explorers passing through.

When Tom Runyon came to Cornell back in the mid 60’s he immediately attached himself to this sense of place and decided to build a business that’s sole objective was to serve as a gathering and eating place for those unique souls that wanted to live in a more rural environment.  The Old Place is still holding to the same ideals that Tom set forth back in 1970 when he opened the Old Place.  Serve an honest meal for a fair price.

We hope you come and join us for a walk back through time and enjoy the amazing talent that Chef David Asher has brought to our little old town of Cornell .

We are now open for breakfast at the Old Place from 8am – 12:30pm.  Dress warm it’s cold up in these hills!
