Location: Olvera Street – Paseo De La Plaza, south-west of 125 Paseo De La Plz, Los Angeles 90012

WHY MARCH
Tell Barack Obama it’s time to lead in the fight against climate change, beginning with the Keystone XL tar sands pipeline. It is time for a Renewable Energy Future – one that doesn’t include dirty and dangerous fuels like Coal, Fracking, Tar Sands and Nuclear. See website for a complete list of organizations who are “Standing in Solidarity”

This demonstration is in solidarity with the Washington D.C. march happening the same day organized by 350.org, Sierra Club and Hip Hop Caucus. Thousands of Americans will head to Washington, D.C. to make “Forward on Climate” the largest climate rally in history. We encourage everyone to attend the D.C. rally (https://act.350.org/signup/presidentsday), but for those unable to make the journey you can still stand in solidarity and make history right here in Los Angeles.
