| The Pasadena Media production crew will be at the Rose Bowl on Fourth of July for the 89th annual AmericaFest celebration. We wish you and your loved ones a happy and safe Independence weekend!The 89th Annual 4th of July Celebration at the Rose Bowl presented by Honda will feature some new exciting components as well as some traditional fan favorites.Rialto-California based company, Pyro Spectaculars by Souza, will once again produce the Southland’s largest fireworks show.
Pyro Spectaculars by Souza has been family operated for five generations and has provided fireworks entertainment at the Rose Bowl Stadium for more than 35 years. The company is known worldwide for extraordinary displays in places like New York, Boston, Thailand, the Philippines, NFL Super Bowls and the Olympic Games. This year’s celebration will take place on Saturday, July 4, with opening ceremonies, including the Presentation of Colors and the National Anthem. Other AmericaFest™ entertainment will feature live motorcycle stunts by TNT. Liverpool Legends This July 4th, Louise Harrison, sister of the former Beatles’ lead guitarist George Harrison, brings the Grammy-nominated Liverpool Legends’ “The Ultimate Beatles Experience” back to AmericaFest™ at the Rose Bowl. Louise Harrison hand-picked the artists of the Liverpool Legends, making them the only Beatles tribute band with a direct biological link to the Fab Four. “This band presents the very best portrayal of the Beatles in sound, voice, looks, and humor,” says Harrison, who will be attending the fireworks show. The Liverpool Legends recently received endorsements as one of the best Beatles tribute bands from original Beatles member Sir Paul McCartney, former president Bill Clinton and top television and film producer Jerry Bruckheimer. Elvis Tribute Elvis Presley Enterprises 2008 Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist as seen on “The Late Show with David Letterman” and currently portraying Elvis with the Tony award winning musical “Million Dollar Quartet”. (Burbank, Glendale, Pasadena, CA) On July 4, 2015, the nation celebrates Independence Day. Colorful displays of fireworks will light up the night skies. The Cities of Burbank, Glendale, and Pasadena are surrounded by hillsides that are dry due to the lack of rain. The dryness combined with hot temperatures and just a small spark can set the hillsides ablaze which could have devastating outcomes for first responders, homeowners and wild life. The cities of Burbank, Glendale and Pasadena have a Zero Tolerance enforcement effort for all fireworks. All personal fireworks, including “safe and sane” variety are illegal in all three cities. We encourage you to leave the fireworks to the professionals and celebrate the Fourth of July by visiting one of these local professional and permitted fireworks shows:
