71 Year old Lee Baca is said to be retiring after serving the LA County Sheriff department since the mid 60’s.

After 15 years in office and several investigations and FBI probes.

An interim  Sheriff will be named once the retirement is announced.

Rather than face the reelection and controversy Baca has chosen to retire. More details coming today.

Sheriff Lee Baca resides in the suburb of San Marino.  Was born in East Los Angeles.
