BENEFIT for PASADENA COMMUNITY ORCHESTRA

 WHO:  The Elixir Piano Trio (Lucy Nargizyan, Samvel Chilingarian and Garik Terzian)

WHAT:  3rd Annual Chamber Music Benefit for Pasadena Community Orchestra features performance of Arensky’s passionate Piano Trio No. 1 in D Minor.  Wine and hors d’oeuvres will be served.  Tickets are $50 in advance ($60 at the door), and all proceeds benefit Pasadena Community Orchestra. https://www.pcomusic.org

 Winner of the Most Distinguished Musician award at the 2005 IBLA International Competition in Italy, the Elixir is the Trio-in-Residence and on the faculty of the Beverly Hills International Music Festival. The Los Angeles-based ensemble is known for their unique and exciting interpretations, and has dazzled audiences in Europe and the United States with their energy and sensitivity. Known for promoting works by contemporary composers, the dynamic Elixir Piano Trio performs both traditional and modern repertoire with classical, folk and jazz influences.  The benefit concert program also includes short works by Khatchaturian, Piazzolla and Kouneva.
