Smartphone and tablet device owners can use the 14 access points by searching for the Wi-Fi network SSID “attwifi” on any Wi-Fi enabled device and following the prompts to connect.
The free wifi service is available to all smartphone and tablet device owners at no cost and using wifi does not count against monthly data allotments at least with most carriers.
We assume that the 14 access points cover a block or so north and south so you don’t necessarily have to be on Colorado Blvd to enjoy the free wifi, but your results will vary based on the buildings.
This is the press release issued by AT&T.
