Apple iOS 7 Available September 18, 2013, Download/Update What’s New

In what is the most significant interface update to Apple’s iOS, v 7 will be available starting September 18, 2013.

Be prepared by backing up your existing system and also allowing enough time, possible an hour or longer for the process.

One suggestions is to make sure all your apps are updated and that you are on the latest iOS 6.1.4, a reboot on your computer and phone before starting the process.

Here’s the expected release schedule when users should be able to download or use the update function on the device:

London – Wednesday 6:00 p.m.

New Delhi – Wednesday 10:30 p.m.

New York – Wednesday 1:00 p.m.

San Francisco – Wednesday 10:00 a.m.

Shanghai – Thursday 1:00 a.m.

Tokyo – Thursday 2:00 a.m.

Melbourne – Thursday 3:00 a.m.

Auckland – Thursday 5:00 a.m.

Some of the updates to the iOS 7.

1. control center ‘layers’ to iOS 7; you can swipe it up at any time, ‘frosted glass’ effect.

2. overhauled Photos app – with the new automatic albums on the left and the redesigned camera interface on the right. A burst mode is included where many photos are taken and you can select the best photo.

3. Re-designed Safari includes better navigation through tabs and pages, as well as a new Smart Search field (to auto-complete search terms) and an iCloud Keychain, to store all your passwords in one place.
