19 Firefighters Killed in Arizona

It is always very sad to report these types of incidents.

This past weekend, a fire killed 19 firefighters, the fire may have started with a lightning strike, and very hot and dry conditions, near Prescott, AZ and
Yarnell, AZ north of Phoeniz, AZ.

The fire is still raging out of control consuming about 6500 acres.

Firefighters deployed emergency shelters. Hoping the firefighter will go over them,

19 crew from granite mountain hot shot crew,

President Obama, called the firefighters heroes. Putting their lives in the way of extreme danger to save lives and property.

Three of the firefighters from Southern California, Hemet and Seal Beach, this is the deadliest event to kill this many firefighters since 911.
Joe Woyjeck firefighter and Kevin Woyjeck, Kevin knew that he wanted to be a firefighter. He died doing what he loved.

Two families in Hemet,
Billy Warneke, very loved by the community of Hemet.
26 year old Billy was killed in the fire.
Former Marine, served in Iraq, wife is going to give birth.

Chris MacKenzie, was also killed, his father was with CalFire.
