10th Annual Grilled Cheese Invitational

It was held at the Rose Bowl parking lot G and the cost was $15 to get in(plus fees), you could buy beers for $5 in the beer garden, or buy a number of grilled cheese and other offerings, including free samples of chips, pickels, and izze and fuze drinks, as well as Cabot cheese sample grilled cheese sandwiches.

You may have been among the thousands of people in attendance at the Grilled Cheese Festival in Pasadena today.

Was it worth the $15, if you like enjoying the sun for a few hours and eating samples of cheese, as a couple we spent an additional $30 for food at the event which brought the cost to over $60.

The Grilled Cheese Invitational (GCI) is the largest, craziest, and most exciting Grilled Cheese cooking contest in the country! The GCI promotes an inappropriate pursuit of perfection and allows for amateur and professional chefs to compete in the hopes of becoming a true Grilled Cheese Champion.
