This is a website that you can go to compare the different prices of Medicare insurance. They will tell you what you get from the different policy and what the cost will be.

On this first page that you go, the website will ask what kind of policy that you need and what you want the policy to do for your life. If you are a senior that takes a lot of medicine, then you would want to be cover by the prescription card.

There are three different types of policies to choose from and this website wants to help you form the very best choice that a person can. This website doesn’t want you to get charged for something that you will never use and that is why they ask what type of policy you will need.
The three different types of policies that are covered is Medicare supplements, Medicare part D, and Medicare advantages. As the person that wants to buy one of these policies, you must know how much you want to buy and what you want it to cover.

Pasadena Chalk Festival 2012

artistsmediacontact

The annual Pasadena Chalk Festival, recipient of the 2010 Guinness World Record for the Largest Display of Chalk Art, will celebrate its 20th Anniversary on Father’s Day Weekend June 16 and 17, 2012 at Paseo Colorado. Each year thousands of spectators enjoy the annual festival that is open to the public and free of charge. Paseo Colorado’s outdoor setting with fountains and garden promenades provides a venue for the Pasadena Chalk Festival to continue the legacy of the street painting art form by offering festival visitors an opportunity to shop, dine or see a movie as the works of art come to life.

Hundreds of artists come from all across Southern California to spend two days on their hands and knees creating spectacular chalk murals on concrete areas in every style imaginable. In addition to the extraordinary opportunity to watch artists at work, guests are treated to live music an entertainment throughout the weekend. Families shared the day with each other as children create their own chalk artwork in KIDS CHALKLAND, a designated area for the children.

The Pasadena Chalk Festival benefits the community arts programs of the Light Bringer Project, a Pasadena-based nonprofit arts organization founded by local residents who were interested in the role the arts, architecture and design played in the growth and development of their community. For more information on Light Bringer Project programs and partnerships, please visit LightBringerProject.com.

Paseo Colorado is located at 280 East Colorado Boulevard (between Marengo and Los Robles Avenues) in the heart of Pasadena’s historic downtown Civic Center. For more information on Paseo Colorado, visit their website at PaseoColoradoPasadena.com. Paseo Colorado is owned and managed by Cleveland-based DDR Corp. Tide Laundry Detergent Cancer Concerns

Tide Laundry Detergent Cancer Concerns

Does Tide Laundry Detergent contain enough dioxin to cause cancer? Some say yes, that even the trace amounts are enough.
Procter and Gamble who owns the Tide product says that toxicology reports show that the trace amounts are not enough to be worried about. But any amounts should be of concern.

Sign up for The Food Revolution Summit for free access to interviews with 21 leading food experts

The Food Revolution Summit is a series of 21 interviews with leading food experts that will be broadcast online for free from April 28 to May 6, 2012. Some of the experts that will be interviewed include:

  • Dr. Joel Fuhrman, best selling author of the book “Eat to Live”
  • Dr. Vandana Shiva, word renowned environmental leader and thinker
  • David Wolfe, leading nutritionist and raw foodist
  • Raj Patel, leading food activist, author of “Stuffed and Starved” and “Value of Nothing”
  • Morgan Spurlock, creator of the film “Super Size Me”
  • Bill McKibben, founder of 350.org
  • Dennis and Elizabeth Kucinich, leading champions of the label GMO movement

The interviews will be conducted by father and son, John and Ocean Robbins – heirs to the Baskin-Robbins ice cream fortune. John Robbins could have inherited the Baskin-Robbins empire, but he walked away from all the money and the power because he simply didn’t want to devote his life to selling ice cream after realizing it makes people unhealthy. So he decided to make a change. Over the last 25 years, his books about healthy eating and healthy living (including bestseller “Diet for a New America”) have sold millions of copies.

During this summit, you will get answers to important questions like: Does the organic label mean your food is safe? Is the raw food diet legitimate or just a fad? Is it safe to consume soy? What’s the truth about grass-fed beef? Which fats are healthy for you? And more.
