RECORD SHOW / PRODUCTION MARKETPLACE
Visit the official Dynamic Producer Expo, a Production Marketplace held in collaboration with Beat Swap Meet and featuring specially invited vinyl vendors and record collectors selling/trading Hip-Hop, Soul, Blues, Rock, Jazz, Punk, World, and Reggae 12” and 45 records. The marketplace will also feature professional music service providers in the legal, promotions, web, publicity, distribution fields as well as vendors selling sounds, music apparel and unique services such as custom painted gear customizations.

1pm – State of The Industry & Founders Welcome PANEL
Join DP’s Founder, Felisha Booker, Dynamic Alumni, Conference Instructors, Mentors and Industry Executives as they welcome you and give tips on how to best maximize your time during the 3 day event.

3pm – Beats-N-BBQ Meet-N-Greet / Beat Suite Listening Session (Member Feedback)

4pm – Beat Suite Listening Session (Industry Feedback)

5pm – Artist Performances(Producers Present Artists)

7pm – The History Of Hip-Hop Drums PRESENTATION
You have to know where drums have been to know where YOU’RE going to take them next. During this audio/visual presentation, our instructors and special guests will take it back to the ‘70’s and discuss impactful drums periods throughout the years, the game changers, and their importance.

8pm – DJBooth.net Chop Shop Sample Battle COMPETITION
Producers chop samples in advance and on the spot to showcase

9pm – The West vs. The Rest Beat Battle COMPETITION
Impromptu beat battle of westcoast producers vs producers from all other regions.

9am – Dynamic Drums – Level 1 WORKSHOP
Get your drums on track by learning tips and techniques in layering, filtering, compression, sampling, patterns, shifting, quantization, and creating original drum sounds using organic, live, analog, and digital methods. In this open session, the first 50 registered attendees will have an opportunity to have their drum sounds played for review and recommendations from workshop instructor and special industry guests. This is a great opportunity to not only receive feedback on your music, but to learn from the feedback that others receive as well through live demonstrations. Instructors will also be available throughout the entire conference to answer questions one on one.

12noon – Break For Lunch

1pm – Speed Industry Networking
With just enough time for a quick intro and to press play on your ipod/mp3 player, this is a real chance to showcase yourself 1 on 1 during this timed networking event. Here’s your shot to capture the attention of industry experts who may be instrumental in helping you to land a placement, industry feedback and other opportunities! ***Due to the timed nature of this event, the first 30 registered attendees with an all access pass will be guaranteed a participation slot. 4pm – Dynamic Drums – Level 2 WORKSHOP
Get your drums on track by learning tips and techniques in eq’ing, compression, reverb, transient designers, fine tone, and parallel compression when mixing drum sounds. In this open session, the first 50 registered attendees will have an opportunity to have their drum sounds played for review and recommendations from workshop instructor and special industry guests. This is a great opportunity to not only receive feedback on your music, but to learn from the feedback that others receive as well through live demonstrations. Instructors will also be available throughout the entire conference to answer questions one on one.

7pm – Break For Dinner

8pm – Beyond The Drums, Behind The Tracks PANEL
During this major producer panel, established music producers play some of their most known drum sounds and share the stories behind the tracks. Panelists will also share impactful experiences in networking, production, collaborations and placements.

9pm – Freestyle Formula SHOWCASE
You have no idea what the potential is with your music, until you hear these skilled songwriters freestyle Pop and R&B songs over your tracks. This is a can’t miss event!

10pm – My Beats Are The Illest Beat Battle COMPETITION
10 producers battle with their best hard hitting, hip-hop style tracks for cash and prizes, but most importantly for RESPECT.

11am – Networking Brunch “C.R.E.A.M.” (Cash Rules Everything Around Media) at The Waffle
Learn about music licensing from the perspectives of both music composers AND music supervisors getting music placed in television, film and video games during this casual networking chat & chew event

2pm – Farewell Field Trip – The Grammy Museum
Join us while we visit the Grammy Museum, which explores and celebrates the enduring legacies of all forms of music; the creative process; the art and technology of the recording process; and the history of the GRAMMY® Awards, the premier recognition of recorded music accomplishment. This will be the last official event of the conference.
