Kern’s Nectar Juices High Fructose Corn Syrup

Kern’s Nectar Juices & High Fructose Corn Syrup

Just picked up a carton of the mango flavor of Kern’s Nectar Juice and the second ingredient is high fructose corn syrup. After water.

The ingredients for mango flavor, which contains 23% juice.

Water, High Fructose Corn Syrup, Mango Puree Concentrate, Citric Acid, Vitamin C(absorbic acid).

You can call Kern’s with questions regarding why they use high fructose corn syrup at (888) 655-3767. I encourage everyone to ask food companies to stop using high fructose corn syrup.

Kern’s made the decision, most likely due to cost savings to change the ingredients to include high fructose corn syrup.

What is high fructose corn syrup and how is it made. It is basically over-processed corn combined with glucose and fructose, we have no idea which HFCS variation Kerns is using in their products.

LETTER TO KERN’S

To Whom It May Concern,

I am very concerned about the high use of high fructose corn syrup in your products. Could someone please explain why this is? Also, which variety of HFCS is used, 42, 55, and where it is sourced.
Please consider using other sweetners, such as cane sugar.
I will buy your products and recommend them to others when you stop using HFCS in your products.

Best Regards,
Victor Caballero
