Limited Edition, Signed, Giclee prints by Kenton Nelson Internationally known artist Kenton Nelson has generously made a limited edition of only 30 Giclee prints of his recent painting of the Colorado Street Bridge
titled “View of the Arroyo” available to Pasadena Heritage supporters. An 18″ x 20″ print on archival paper, in an edition of 30 (image size 14″ x 14″) These prints will be released in three groups.
The first ten are priced at $700, (first ten prints sold)
the second ten will be $850,
and the final 10 will be $1,000.

DIRECTIONS:
The Bridge Celebration is held on the historic Colorado Street Bridge, an extension of Colorado Blvd. west of Orange Grove Blvd. On any map, look for the intersection of Orange Grove Blvd. and Colorado Blvd. in Pasadena.
From the 110 Freeway: From Los Angeles, take the 110 Freeway north to Pasadena. Take the Orange Grove exit, turning north (left) onto Orange Grove Blvd. Continue north to Colorado Blvd.
From the 134 Freeway: Traveling east or west, take the Orange Grove Blvd. exit, turning south (right) onto Orange Grove.
TRAFFIC ALERT FOR SATURDAY, JULY 10, 2010
A soccer match will be held at the Rose Bowl. The game begins at 7:00 p.m. and ends at 9:00 p.m. Traffic after the game should clear by approximately 10:30 p.m. Although many soccer fans will travel to the Rose Bowl area before the kick-off, fans will use many of the same streets as our guests. Traffic will likely be congested, especially on Orange Grove Boulevard. The Orange Grove/Colorado and Orange Grove/ Walnut intersections could be significantly impacted. Please plan accordingly.

FREE PARKING:
Available at the Norton Simon Museum of Art, (411 West Colorado Blvd.) from 6:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Free parking is also available on surface streets (along South Grand Ave. and side streets) where permitted.
Available at Avery Dennison from 5:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. – enter the Walnut Street entrance between North Orange Grove Blvd. and North St. John Avenue.
Please note that both parking lot gates lock promptly at 11:30 p.m. Cars left in either lot after the closing time will be subject to towing. Pasadena Heritage is not responsible for any towed vehicles.
Free parking is also available on surface streets (along South Grand Ave. and side streets) where permitted.
PAID PARKING:
Available at the Elk’s Lodge lot at the corner of Orange Grove Blvd. and Green St. (enter from Green St.) for $10.00.
PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION: Take the ARTS Bus to the Bridge Party! Special extended hours for our event on July 10th. Pasadena ARTS Route 10 will run every 15 minutes, with its last stop at 11:15 PM. The Route 10 provides service along Westbound Colorado & Eastbound Green between Orange Grove & Wilson and also connects with the Allen Gold Line Station and is only one block away from the Del Mar Gold Line Station. HANDICAP ACCESSIBILITY: The Bridge, park, and restroom facilities are handicap accessible. Those needing to be dropped off close to the party should go to the north end (cul-de-sac) of S. Grand Ave.
CHILDREN’S ACTIVITIES: A variety of free entertainment will be offered from 6:00 to 10:00 PM in the park, featuring police and fire vehicles, the Pasadena Humane Society, crafts, face painting, cookie decorating, special musical entertainment, and more.
LIVE MUSIC: A variety of live music is featured on three stages throughout the evening.
FOOD AND BEVERAGES (no host): Festive foods from local restaurants and beverages (alcoholic and soft drinks) will be available in the park and on the Bridge. Purchase scrip tickets at six locations for $1.00 each, and use your scrip at any bar or restaurant booth.
MERCHANDISE: To purchase collectible Celebration T-shirts and posters featuring beautiful images by renowned artist Kenton Nelson, stop by the Pasadena Heritage merchandise table located in the park near the entrance to the Bridge. New items are available, as well as popular selections from previous years.
ATTIRE: Casual and comfortable.

Cost: Advance tickets are $13.50 for adults, $6.50 for children ages 7-12, free for children 6 and younger. Tickets on the day of the event are $15 for adults, $7 for children ages 7-12, and free for children 6 and younger

Getting there: ARTS bus service, every 15 minutes on Route 10, is from 6 to 11 p.m. The cost is 75 cents. For more information go to cityofpasadena.net/artsbus
